Question by Jacob L: Question about joining the Military and associated educational benefits?

I am planning on joining the US Navy or Air Force. I am also going to college starting this fall to pursue a degree in physical therapy. Which branches of the military will help pay for my education, and how much will they pay for?
Also, do these branches have a program where I can start my service AFTER I've completed my education?

Also, does anyone have any advice for people going into the military and pursuing a healthcare career?

Thanks in advance!

Answer by kael
do the ROTC program. both the Air Force and Navy have ROTC programs, but they are not available at all colleges, so make sure the school you are going to has them first. doing this your tuition will be covered, you'll get money for books, and you will get a monthly allowance for food or whatever else you need. once you graduate you will be able to be a commisioned officer.

the military is a great choice for health care carreers.
